All About My Baby and Me

After a few months of "hiding", I'm back! I thought I'd be able to write in my blog more than usual to keep myself busy after I got home and while I was waiting for the baby to arrive. Apparently, I was too busy to do that. And now, it's high time to post bits and pieces of what I've been up to during the previous months. To make up for those lost months, I've prepared this photoblog.








A little bit of rewind. This was in September when Karl and I were invited for a leaving dinner for a colleague. And I still didn't know at the time that I was already pregnant. And see the date, exactly nine months before my baby was born!

I was on my fourth month in this picture, on the way to the airport to see Val on her way back home.

I was about halfway on my fourth month here. It was the day my sister arrived in Dubai and we showed them around. My tummy was not too obvious because of my loose dress.

This was around my fifth month. We already knew that we are having a boy. Still, a lot of people guessed that it will be a girl since I don't "look ugly". Well, I actually look cute in here!

Craving for ice cream! I forgot how many months I was back there, but I can still remember my fave coffee crumble ice cream! Yummy!

My "preggy-mate" Glo during her baby shower. Our tummies are about the same age, but she gave birth two weeks earlier than I did.

Early morning, about to go to the office. This was around my sixth month, with a very round tummy!

Hungry! This was in Mini-Chinese, I love that soup! One of the things I'm missing back there! :(

And this was during the baby shower that my best buds organized for me. I was about halfway on my sixth month during this time and about a week before I fly back home.











Go ahead and measure my tummy! I forgot who won this game. Everyone wanted to cheat, as if the prize was a brand new car! :D


This was the last occasion I've had with my Dubai Family. I missed those times a lot!

One of the gifts I received from the shower. It was so tiny and I think my baby wore it only a couple of times! So cute! :)

This was what kept me busy during my long weeks of waiting for the baby. Quite understandable that I haven't been able to blog more frequently, eh?

The waiting game. Karl was back home and we were anxiously waiting for the arrival of our little star.

Ooops! How did that get there? :) This was way back in college. Looking at this, who would've thought that I will be the first to have a baby among us? :)

At long last! After hours of long and painful labor, my baby arrived on June 2. What an adorable little baby! We named him Emmerieck.

Our little family is now complete! :)

This was during Em's christening on the 27th of June. After the celebration, Karl left and went back to Dubai.

Em went to Tagaytay when he was around one and a half month old.



My baby Em turns two months. Look how much he has grown! And how cute he is when he cries!

Em went to see the doctor because of cough and colds.
